These pliers didn't work, at least not for me. The moving of almost all tool production to China has meant a precipitous drop in quality. These pliers had the same problem I've noticed on several recently purchased Chinese-made long nose pliers: the jaws aren't well aligned, which means they make contact only at the tip. If you're working with fine wire, the only place where these pliers will actually grip the wire is at the very tip of the jaws--otherwise, the wire just runs right through. If the tasks aren't too demanding, these pliers might do; if you need quality, look elsewhere.

Knowing nothing about tools, I have come to love the many uses for Groove Joint Pliers.



This particular one is fine, the type of Plier is what get's the 5 stars. If you don't have one of these, you really should have one around the house. It has come in hand so many times and made various jobs MUCH easier.
