The pliers have an excellent grip that seems well constructed (no loose fitting edges, it's all snug again the steel), the joint holding the two halves of the pliers together is well machined and fits together perfectly. The teeth line up well and the wire cutters do their job ever time (no matter how rough I seem to be with them). I should add, however, that when I bought these I got them at a hardware store and was able to look through all the pairs and pick out the one I felt was highest quality, so there is a slim chance you won't get a pair that fits together as nice as mine if you order them on the internet. Also I have only had these for a few months and just do weekend projects and fixer upper jobs, so I can't say if these would be a contractor quality item. If you're just looking for a decently priced pair of disposable pliers though these are definitely a pair to consider.
